It is truly impossible to put into words how incredibly talented, amicable and knowledgeable Dr. Tahiri and his entire team are. They are some of the most exceptional people my family and I have ever met, every single one of them – Dr. Tahiri, Paola, Dr. Jumper, Shoshana, Myriam, Linda; and every other team member that we encountered either in passing or exchanged a quick word with at his office and the surgical center. Our daughter, who was born with unilateral microtia atresia (grade 3), underwent a SuPor implant outer ear reconstruction and surgical OSIA placement in August with Dr. Tahiri at K & B Surgical Center. From the very first e-mail we sent him over a year prior to ongoing communication today, Dr. Tahiri and his team are impressively quick to respond, thoughtful in their responses and never cease to answer any and all questions we may have, no matter how trivial. Dr. Tahiri’s expertise and care are unparalleled and he is meticulous with surgery and his postoperative treatment. The entire team made our 5-year old daughter smile and feel comfortable at every turn while adequately discussing and addressing the nature of what was happening. They took what was a very emotionally filled moment and added brightness and the appropriate amount of levity to it. The nurses decorated the preoperative room to match our daughter’s rainbow, butterfly, princess loving self and Dr. Jumper continuously made her laugh and smile as she was wheeled away to the operating room. The nurses provided updates throughout the surgery and Dr. Tahiri greeted us with a confidence and ease post surgery that we will remember forever.
